Hello! I’m Josh.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist* specializing in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and chronic pain. These areas of care are not just my clinical focus — they’re my passion. My goal is that every person who works with me feels confident they are receiving the highest quality, research-based treatment available.
For over two decades, I’ve immersed myself in the study and practice of these conditions, developing a deep understanding of both the struggles and the pathways to recovery. Think of it this way: just as a sailor who grows up on the water knows how to navigate storms instinctively, I know how to guide people through the challenges of OCD, anxiety, and chronic pain toward lasting relief.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and have received advanced training in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). My approach is integrative, nuanced, and highly individualized — never one-size-fits-all.
In addition to my primary areas of focus, I also specialize in supporting clients with dating and relationships. Anxiety and OCD often surface in this part of life, influencing everything from confidence to communication to intimacy. I work extensively with clients to untangle these patterns, both in the everyday challenges of dating and in the unique ways OCD can impact relationships.
I frequently work with clients who have tried traditional therapy without finding the progress they were hoping for. By combining specialized knowledge with a flexible, compassionate approach, I help clients break free from stuck patterns and create meaningful, lasting change.
*My license number is 154222.

OCD
OCD is a complex disorder that fools many clients and clinicians. If you feel like you’ve tried to treat it but have not had success, don’t give up. There are evidence based treatments that, when applied correctly to your unique situation, will support recovery. Click below to learn more.
Chronic Pain
Chronic pain is not a purely physical problem. There are many factors that go into one’s experience of pain and when pain lasts for months and years, psychological factors are dominant. I work with people in treating these psychological dimensions so that they can get their life back.
